Our most popular bundle consists of the following treatments:
March/April - slow release spring lawn fertiliser applied using a professional drop spreader which will feed and nourish your lawn for approximately 10 to 12 weeks. Approximately 2 weeks later, your lawn will be scarified (raked) to remove thatch and dead moss, then mowed to tidy it up and leave it in good condition for Spring. A selective lawn herbicide (weedkiller) will also be applied to tackle any annual and perennial lawn weeds which are evident in the lawn.
June/July - slow release summer lawn fertiliser will be applied using a professional drop spreader which will feed and nourish your lawn for approximately 10 to 12 weeks. Approximately 2 weeks later a selective lawn herbicide (weedkiller) will be applied to tackle any annual and perennial lawn weeds which are evident in the lawn.
Sept./Oct. - Autumn lawn feed applied using a professional drop spreader.
NB. The grass should not be cut 3 days before and 4 days after the chemical treatments. If it doesn't rain in the 4 days following the chemical treatment then watering in the fertiliser yourself is recommended.
The scarification visit can create rather a lot of dead grass to be disposed of - so please ensure your green bin is empty prior to the visit, or alternatively I can dispose of the green waste for you at an additional cost of £3 per 200 litre sack or £15 per trailer load.
Annual cost £100
(For lawns up to 150 m2)
For lawns up to 150 m2 the cost per seasonal treatment is £65 for the Spring treatment and scarification visit (2 visits required), £20 for the Summer treatment and £15 for the Autumn treatment. For lawn areas larger than 150 m2 there will be a supplement of 10p per square metre. Please feel free to contact me should you wish for me to visit to measure and provide you with a no obligation estimate.
You can pre-book the whole year's worth of treatments without having to pay the full cost up front. There is no need for anyone to be at home during these visits - just give me access to the lawns and I will leave an invoice if necessary.
